According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, there are an estimated 40 million people in the United States who experience an anxiety disorder in any given year. That’s about 18%. They also estimate that there is 8% of children and teenagers who experience an anxiety disorder, and often develop symptoms before age 21. The good news is anxiety disorders are highly treatable and more and more resources are available.
